New international flight routes will be opened later this year connecting Shenzhen airport with cities in Japan and Thailand.
China Southern Airlines announced Monday that they will be offering daily flights from Shenzhen to Bangkok starting March 29th. A flight to Krabi, Thailand will depart Shenzhen three times a week starting July 2nd.
The new air routes to Japan are all set to begin at the end of June. Flights will go to Osaka four times a week, while those leaving for Shizuoka and Ibaraki will leave twice a week.
The new routes bring the total number of China Southern Airlines international routes to 11, and make up 70 percent of all international routes leaving Shenzhen.
