A long-standing tradition at the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival has been the Ice Bar, and this year is no exception. The impressive 100 square meter structure, as well as all of its tables, chairs and counters, are made of ice.
In it is 32nd year, the festival also features a number of sculptures and exhibits, including a 51 meter high snow castle, said to be the largest in the world. This year’s festival is the largest yet, occupying a space of 800,000 square meters, equivalent to four Bird’s Nest stadiums.
Officially opened on January 5, the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival runs for three months.
