Once I got to the bit where she was sending the messages before she even got to Tibet. I stopped reading! This woman deserves what she got! She had an opinion and that is what she was going to spread. Never let the truth get in the way of a good bit of propaganda. It’s not her fault though that her mind has been so twisted. The slave trader the Dalai Lama owner to 10’s of thousands of slaves before they were liberated by China, combined with the wealthy Tibetans and using the resources of the CIA have drummed this message into western thinking for decades. China never gets a voice on the issue.

The author is no better! Is he even aware that the one child policy only affects the Han in Tibet and Tibetans themselves are allowed as many children as desired. How can you destroy a peoples culture when they are out breeding you five to one.

This is a nation made up of 55 ethnic groups who only two years ago rioted because a boy from Sichzuan was picking a mango off a Guangdong tree. These laws are set up to protect this stupid little girl and the Tibetan people both Han and locals. A necessary evil when you consider the infant mortality rate has dropped from over 50% to 0.6%, slavery has been ended by a false God and the GDP/ capita has risen from 600rmb / year to 20,000 rmb / year.

My advise, educate yourselves and If you cant do the time for your stupidity don’t do the crime!

this piece is rather slickly written and feels a bit fake. a bit too compelling, a bit too persuasive on the point of the evilness of PRC police, a bit too smooth and consequently a bit propagandistic. I’ll concede that it may be “true” and merely embellished. I’ll even concede it may be completely true. But the details are just a bit too neat. Regardless. mom told you when you were a kid to never talk to strangers. The police are strangers. So never, ever, talk to the police. If they want to talk to you, you do not want to talk to them. No good will come of it. That’s basic. Give your name, and your nationality and ask for a consular officer from the embassy. If you say nothing, you can’t be quoted or misquoted.
