British expatriates, and locals gathered at The British School of Guangzhou over the weekend to celebrate British Day. Organized by The British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong, the event was a celebration of the best of British culture, whilst also celebrating the upcoming 2012 London Olympics and the Queen’s Jubilee (60 year anniversary). Residents and staff in one apartment complex in Shenzhen have begun the long process of cleaning up part of their city after the largest typhoon in 13 years swept through town.
