Foreign IT company are looking for linguists for long full-time project (permanent distance work).
Linguist
Requirements and Helpful Skills:
- Degree in linguistics is obligated;

- Proficiency in two or more of the following languages English/Portuguese/French/German/Arabic/Chinese/Malaysian/Indonesian.
- Knowledge of English is appreciated;

- Profound knowledge of grammar (at least two of the language: English/Portuguese/French/German/Arabic/Chinese/Malaysian/Indonesian);

- Fundamental knowledge of morphology, syntax, lexical and grammatical semantics theories;

- State-of –the-art knowledge in the sphere of general translation theory, technical and machine translation;

- Ability to apply formal language theories to the textual material offered;
Ability to work with massive text data;
- 
Ability to analyze texts relating to various genres and subjects;
- Capacity for quick and efficient information search;

- Good command of Microsoft Office, the Internet and e-mail services;
- 
Knowledge of theoretical lexicography theories is regarded as favorable

- Attentiveness
Meticulousness

- An Internet access 


Duties:

- Specialized markup and annotation of text corpora;
- Compilation of specialized dictionaries, glossaries, manuals and thesauri; Translation of texts devoted to the sphere of IT
Forming of a Parallel Corpus.
