I know they had a vet out there and were able to save some of the dogs, and it is progress that the local government is getting behind rescue efforts.
Also, don’t forget that these dogs are almost always stolen and transported in terrible condition, for
days, without food or water. Their cages are tossed around and bones are broken and the dogs are crushed. The animals literally go insane from agony and terror. So even with unlimited resources, it is extremely likely that a portion of those rescued would have had to be euthanized or would not have survived at all.
