A young woman sat on People’s Road Central in Guangzhou on Tuesday with a sign begging for someone to come and be her boyfriend, Southern Metropolis Daily reports. The sign contained her requirements and her contact details in both Chinese and English.

Her main precondition was that this boyfriend be kind. She says she does not care too much about riches. Unfortunately, the photograph of the sign, which was taken at about 2.30 pm that day, is not clear enough for us to see her contact details.

At the time of writing, there don’t seem to have been any takers.

Women like this, who are looking for a relationship, are not to be confused with those who just want a pretend boyfriend for the Spring Festival.
