This is one of the saddest and most disturbing things I’ve seen in my life. I don’t know what’s saddest, the poor girls awful death, or the fact that not 1 single person tried to defend her. People are total cowards today. Not only do they not try to help the victim, but they all stand there filming the appalling scene with their mobile phones. Personally I think each one of them should hang themselves. I couldn’t live with the shame of that. And it’s not the first time we’ve seen this. Last year in London, when the 2 Islamists hacked the off-duty soldier to death in broad daylight on a busy street we saw the same thing. Again not 1 person tried to help him, and again they all just stood there filming his death on their mobiles. What the hell has happened to people today? I am absolutely certain that if that had happened 60 years ago, every man on that street would have ran to his defence, even at great peril to themselves.

jeez… I’m Korean but it’s really saddening to see that the person who’s video taping is not helping the victim out and anybody else is just watching and letting the scene happen. That is ridiculous. I knew even before watching this video it would be quite insecure and unsafe to be in china but after seeing this, I’m quite afraid to visit and do business in china now…poor lady

Thinking about this for days, we can accept and understand the Xinjiang accidents happen cause those are something about country and out of control by ordinary people. But Shandong accident happened in a more center province, like you said han-Chinese, and the reason seems so meaningless. I have been in Taiwan for months, and they can holding a open concert for near million people,it can’t be imaged in China, our government may use a wrong way to their people in this aspect. However, violent issue is not a China specific feature, it also happen in Taiwan, USA… There is unfair things in China, we hope it can getting better in the future.
