New GZ-SZ high-speed rail in trial operations, opening soon (if you dare)
Despite the horrific train collision in Wenzhou last weekend, more sections of the national high-speed railway are set to open soon. Testing is now underway for the Guangzhou-Shenzhen line, which will cut travel time between the two cities down to 25 minutes. Continue reading

New bus route links Futian with Hong Kong Airport, further binding the two cities
It’s now possible to arrive in Futian, drop off your bags, check in for your flight, clear immigration, and board a bus directly to Chek Lap Kok Airport in Hong Kong. Buses leave every 20 minutes and the trip takes an hour and a half. Continue reading
