An unusual murder case made headlines earlier this month:

Southern Metropolis Daily reports that on December 8 in an Internet cafe in Shunde, a 16-year-old youth named Wang was killed by a Mr. Liang, seated at the computer next to him, who apparently found the strong odor emanating from Wang’s feet so unbearable that he picked up a knife, chopped at Wang and stabbed him in the heart.

Liang turned himself in 2 hours later and gave police a full confession.

Liang said he couldn’t stand the smell after Wang took off his shoes and stuck his feet in the space between his and Liang’s computer monitors. After unsuccessfully asking Wang to put his feet down, Liang went to the Internet cafe kitchen, grabbed a knife, came back and killed Wang.
